Examples of Doing Nothing: Walking. Writing in a journal. Napping. Eating an apple. Petting the cat. Sitting.

Doing Nothing is not the same as procrastination. Procrastination is an act of delaying. Doing Nothing is an act of clarifying.

Doing Nothing is just one tap on airplane mode away. Doing Nothing is just one step away out that door to get some fresh air. Doing Nothing is just one closed door away to get time to ourselves to just think. Doing Nothing is a reset. Unsure what to do next? Unsure what decision to make, if any decision at all? Put down the phone, shut down the laptop. Do Nothing.

Carving out space and time to just think is an essential, necessary practice for living in a world where we’re busier, more accessible and more prone to listening to the noise of the mob than the voice of our own thoughts.
