Start Noticing Things

Last March, I wrote a longer post on how to blog. It could have been shortened into just three words: start noticing things.

Is it too simple? Probably, but that’s really all there is to it.

Start noticing things. There’s so much going on around you. And you’re the only person who can provide your insight because nobody else sees things the way that you see them.

We need more people to use their voice to tell us Hey, this [thing I’ve noticed] is cool/helpful/interesting (or) wrong/worrying/unnecessary, here’s why.

Start noticing things, and people might start noticing you.
