What’s so scary about a blank page?

Knowledge management is one of the most useful skills to have in the 21st century.

A useful skill I’m not very good at.

My digital home is a mess. I have folders within folders buried in Notion pages that aren’t color coded or labelled properly. I’d show you a screenshot but I can’t. It would be like trying to get the entire family, kids and dogs included, to pause for a photo. Luckily I can rely on folks like Tiago Forte to teach me how to collect and recall my most important files.

It’s often said that knowledge management systems help you to “never face the blank page again.”

A blank page can be blank for one of two reasons:

  1. You haven’t organized your stuff
    or
  2. You haven’t paid attention to the stuff that matters
