What we know is both our friend and enemy. Knowing is comforting. But clinging to what we know leads to stagnation, boredom, complacency.

What we don’t know is both our friend and enemy. It’s comforting to know that we can always learn something we don’t yet know. But moving towards what we don’t know means sacrificing (or updating) what we know.

It isn’t enough to define a goal. Nor is it enough to reach it.

The true goal: become capable of reaching goals and setting new ones.
