Hypernormalisation by Adam Curtis. It’s about technocracy, the internet, banks, Colonel Gaddafi, algorithms, echo chambers, Trump, Reagan, and more. It covers a lot of ground yet stays coherent for the entire 2 hours and 45 minute runtime. Also features some very cool music.
You’ll be thinking about it for days, maybe even weeks after watching. Highly recommended.
And of course I’ll be featuring it in my newsletter, along with 6 things that I enjoyed this week.
