An Abundance of Fear

Fear. Frustration. Doubt. Disappointment. Worry. Uncertainty.

These feelings – no matter how far you go – are always in abundance. There’s always something to be afraid of. Always something to worry about. Always some problem on the horizon that you haven’t dealt with yet, and you know you should deal with it soon.

There’s always somebody, dead or alive, you could compare yourself to. Always a reason to feel disappointed in your performance. Always a reason to feel insignificant, like you haven’t accomplished anything noteworthy.

You will always have in abundance feelings you’d rather not feel. What matters is how you handle those feelings. Everyone seems to know this lesson, but few put it into practice.
